Stories of Our East Coast
ECP Day is an annual public event held at Parkland Green, East Coast Park. Now in its third year, it brings together a diverse community of organisations and individuals to celebrate the park’s nature, heritage, and community life — and to deepen public stewardship of this beloved green space.
The event is free and open to everyone. Whether you are a regular park user, a first-time visitor, or a member of one of our partner organisations, ECP Day is a day for the whole community.
East Coast Park is more than a stretch of green — it is a place shaped by generations of communities: the Orang Laut who navigated these waters, the kampung dwellers whose land was reclaimed by the sea, the cyclists and nature groups who have made it their own, and the families who have made memories here across decades.
This year’s theme, Stories of Our East Coast, invites every booth, activity, and visitor to share their story of this coastline.
Friends of East Coast Park (FoECP) is a community network of organisations and individuals who share a commitment to East Coast Park — its natural environment, heritage, and community life. Coordinated under NParks, FoECP brings together diverse groups to deepen public connection with the park through events, activities, and advocacy.
Stridy is a Singapore-registered environmental nonprofit that reduces litter through community clean-ups and behavioural change programmes. We run over 140 events annually across corporate, school, and community segments, and are a founding member of FoECP. Stridy is the coordinating organisation for ECP Day 2026.
East Coast Park has been central to Stridy’s work since our founding. ECP Day is a natural extension of our mission to make the park a place that belongs to everyone.
